Weight Lost

This month my weight has been stagnant. The last two weeks of August I have been eating a lot of food. So I’m glad I’m still under 80kg.

Our church’s Adult Sunday School’s been going through a series called 131 Christians Everybody Should Know. We’re only doing 9 notable Christian figures for the summer. I had the opportunity to teach about C.S. Lewis. I learned quite a lot and have been thinking of writing an article on him.

I thought I should post a video at least once a month, so I recorded something that I already knew how to play. I was surprised to see that it got a lot more views than my first video.

Food

Tried quite a bit of new places lately.

• Chen Chen’s Nashville Hot Chicken: Best chicken sandwichs I had. Got the Szechuan Nashville Hot Sandwich, the sauce is very nice and tasty.
• Chicken Plus: Good Korean Fried Chicken.
• Sinaloa Factory Danforth: I was excited to try this place because they served Mexican styled Sushi. As sushi, they failed. But as their own thing they were quite delicious. Would recommend just for the novelty.

Rethinking Priorities

School is starting in September and life will get busy again. To prepare I’ve been thinking about what’s important and what’s not. For the past 3 months, I’ve been trying to establish a prayer habit. It went well for June and July but August was really hard. So I’ll be trying again for the next month. Also haven’t had great sleep for the past 2 months, so I’m thinking of working on fixing my sleep schedule as well.

Day Trip on the East Side of Downtown Toronto

On the 30th I went on a day trip to Downtown and hung out with a friend. We visited the St. Lawrence Market, had Greek food in the South Building, and then visited the new North Building. They have a proper farmer’s market going on. We saw these huge cabbages that are the size of a 13 lb bowling ball. We then kept walking towards the East. We visited the Distillery District and the Toronto Humane Society, occasionally stopping to see the fighter jets from the CNE Air Show. This is also when I tried Mexican Sushi from Sinaloa Factory Danforth. It was a great day exploring the city. Toronto’s got some good places to go.
